When applying for PreIB directly from a Danish school, you must apply through www.optagelse.dk. Deadline for applications for the school year 2017-2018 was March 1, 2017, but if you missed this deadline, you can still contact the school to enquire about vacancies. When applying from abroad or when not currently enrolled in a Danish institution of education, you must download the PreIB application form (see below). Deadline for application was also March 1, 2017, but again, if you missed this deadline, you can contact the IB coordinator to hear about possible admission.
Likewise, if you apply for the 2-year IB programme, but is not currently in a Danish school, the IB1 application form must be downloaded and sent directly to Hasseris Gymnasium & IB World School along with school documentation and your personal statement. Deadline for applying to the school year 2017-2018 was March 1, 2017, but also here you can contact the IB coordinator if you cannot meet the deadline.
Applicants from outside the EU must document at the time of application that they have already received the necessary residence permit to cover the full two years of the IB Diploma Programme. Applicants without such documentation in the form of a copy of the residence permit and a valid Danish CPR number will not be considered. Hasseris Gymnasium & IB World School does not help applicants with applications for residence.
