Literature A: Self-Taught SL

The Language A: Literature courses in Danish or in a self-taught language (one which you master on mother tongue level) introduce you to the analysis of literary texts and a comprehensive exploration of literature from a variety of cultures, genres and periods. You learn to appreciate the artistry of literature and develop the ability to reflect critically on your reading, presenting literary analysis powerfully through both oral and written communication. Danish A Literature HL as well as SL will give you a Danish A-level.

English A: Language and Literature HL/SL

The English A: Language and Literature course introduces the critical study and interpretation of written and spoken texts from a wide range of literary and non-literary genres. The course allows you to explore the English language through its cultural development and use, its media forms and functions and its literature. You develop skills of literary and textual analysis and also the ability to present your ideas effectively. English Language & Literature HL as well as SL will give you a Danish A-level.
